The Old Vicarage is a historic Victorian guest house set within peaceful wooded grounds in St Ives, Cornwall. The challenge was to create a modern website experience without losing the traditional character that makes the property distinctive.
Rather than reinventing the business, the concept uses its existing photography, history and personality as the foundation of the redesign.

The visual direction combines deep heritage greens, warm neutral backgrounds and elegant editorial typography to reflect the Victorian character of the property.
Large-scale photography gives the rooms, gardens and interiors much more prominence, while clearer navigation and stronger calls to action create a simpler journey for prospective guests.
This is an independent website redesign concept created by ORVANO to show how a modern online presence could look for this property. It has not been commissioned by the business and is not their official website.
The history of the Victorian property becomes part of the experience rather than being hidden within the website.
Existing property photography is given significantly more space and visual impact throughout the design.
Clear calls to action make checking availability and booking accommodation much easier.
The layout is designed to remain clear, attractive and easy to navigate across phones, tablets and desktop devices.
The visual identity reflects the property's St Ives setting and traditional character without making the website feel dated.
